Terms of Service

1. Who can play

• Anyone can play as a guest. You must be 13 or older to create an account, use chat or clans, or make purchases.
• If you are under 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian to make purchases, and they agree to these terms for you.

2. Your account

• Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• Your callsign must not impersonate anyone or contain offensive language. We may change or remove callsigns, clan names or clan tags that break these rules.
• Tell us at support@voidfieldgame.com if you think someone else has accessed your account.

3. Virtual items and currency

• Credits, ships, crew members, premium time and other in-game items ("Virtual Items") are part of the Game. When you earn or buy them, we give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use them in the Game.
• Virtual Items have no cash value, can't be exchanged for money, and can't be sold, traded or transferred outside the Game.
• We may rebalance, change or retire Virtual Items as the Game evolves, for example adjusting a ship's stats.

4. Purchases and Fleet Premium

• Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
• Prices are shown in US dollars before you pay. Taxes may apply where required.
• Fleet Premium is a subscription that renews automatically every month at $9.99 (or the price shown at checkout) until you cancel. You can cancel any time from the Shop using Manage subscription. After cancelling, Premium stays active until the end of the month you already paid for, and you won't be charged again.
• If we change the subscription price, we'll tell you in advance, and the new price applies only from your next renewal after the notice.
• Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

5. Chat, clans and conduct

Keep Voidfield friendly. You agree not to:

• harass, threaten, bully or hate on other players, or post sexual, violent or illegal content;
• share other people's personal information, or your own sensitive information;
• spam, advertise, or post links meant to scam or phish;
• cheat, exploit bugs, use bots or automation, tamper with the Game or its servers, or try to access other players' accounts or data;
• attempt to get Virtual Items without paying for them, for example by abusing chargebacks.

We use an automatic language filter, and we may remove messages, close clans, or suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules. Report problems to support@voidfieldgame.com.

6. Suspension and termination

You can stop playing and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms or the law. If we close your account for breaking these terms, you lose access to its Virtual Items without a refund, except where the law requires otherwise. If we shut down the Game entirely, we'll give at least 30 days' notice on the site.

7. The Game is provided "as is"

We work hard to keep Voidfield running, but the Game is provided "as is" and "as available". It may have bugs, downtime or lost progress, and we don't promise it will always be available or error-free. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties.

8. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, FancyKev Gaming Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Game is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

9. Our content

The Game, including its art, ships, characters, music, code, name and logos, belongs to FancyKev Gaming Studio. You may share screenshots and videos of your gameplay for non-commercial purposes.

10. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Massachusetts, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally. Before filing any claim, please contact us at support@voidfieldgame.com so we can try to sort it out.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Game changes. We'll post the new version here with a new "last updated" date, and for important changes we'll tell you in the Game. Continuing to play after changes take effect means you accept them.
